Love the idea of the Teatree oil however this gel is so thick that it leaves a film that blurs my vision. I would like to return it. If you have a Teatree oil cleansing foam, I would love to try that instead.

Great product

I have extreme dry eye. All the medications burn my eyes and don't work. I found the Optase brand and started with their 3 step process: Heather mask, cleanse the eyelids with optase eye lid cleansing gel, and follow up with optase eyelid drops. It helps calm itchy dry eyes. Other products I have used dry on the lid leaving it more itchy than when I started. This is one of the best products I have come across to easy my itchy burning eyes. I use it twice a day.

Tea Tree oil?

A mixed review I've used this for a few weeks now, and frankly don't notice much improvement in sometimes cloudy vision. It may be helping but I can't tell - except that my face smells like tree bark when I apply it to my eyelids. I'll be intertested to see what my optometrist who recommended it says when I see him next time.

Best Stuff Ever for Recurring Corneal Ulcers

I've had a problem with corneal ulcers for years -- decades. It was attributed to dry eyes by ophthalmologists and had progressed to the point I was having one every 30 days. I saw a corneal specialist at the practice I'd been going to for over 10 years, and he said sometimes they never find the cause for chronic corneal ulcers. That didn't go over well with me, and I went to another corneal specialist for a second opinion. He also could not find an explanation for the problem, but he said he was going to treat me as if I had mites because sometimes that's the problem although they can't be seen on examination.
