Is not good at stopping burning sensation when I wear my hard contacts

I just purchased new contacts and they do help but after about 4-5 hours, burning sensation appears. Optometrist does not have any additional thoughts on why, can only suggest warm cloth 4 times a day - I travel so access is not available during travel periods. Any thoughts?
